Description/Blazon
The background of the regalia is dark blue.  The design elements of the authorized distinctive unit insignia constitute the basic design motif for the band regalia.  The crossed swords, mountain peaks and motto are used on the regalia.

Symbolism
The color blue represents Infantry and yellow represents excellence.  The stylized white mountain and blue wave represent the World War II combat history of the Division, in particular the Northern Apennines and Po Valley campaigns.  The crossed swords suggest the Roman numeral X and further symbolize wartime service.  The crossed drumsticks on the tabard also suggest the Roman number X and also symbolize the band members.  Scarlet denotes courage and mortal danger; white stands for high ideals.  The motto "CLIMB TO GLORY" recalls past campaigns through mountainous regions and emphasizes the Division's aspirations and further achievements.
